Your Daily Thread Summer Blog Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. NO PURCHASE REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING.
2. Entry period begins August 9, 2010 and ends September 10, 2010.  Limit of one entry per person. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
3. Giveaway open to U.S. Residents who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void in NY, FL, RI, AZ & where prohibited.  Employees of Intrepid Travel and Your Daily Thread, plus immediate family members, are not eligible.
4. No cost to enter. Enter by visiting http://yourdailythread.com/tripgiveaway and follow all instructions to complete and submit the online entry form, Odds of winning dependent on number of eligible entries received.
5. The Winner will receive one spot on Inca Trail (Trip Code: GXB). The retail value of this trip is $1,100, and the trip can be viewed at www.intrepidtravel.com/trips/GXB
6. Prize may not be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash.
7. Winner will be selected on the originality of their blog or video entry.  Entries will be judged by Intrepid US and Your Daily Thread by September 15.  Finalists will then be notified and posted on website and social media channels for final public voting by September 23.  Winner will be notified by email following the final judging and their name and entry may be posted on www.intrepidtravel.com and www.yourdailythread.com.  The winner’s name and entry may also be published on Intrepid’s and Your Daily Thread’s social media sites.  Winner will be required to document travels through photo and blog recap after completion of trip (video is optional).
8. Travel must be arranged by the winner by calling Intrepid Travel at 800-970-7299 and quoting the promotion code 5071 at time of booking, and is subject to availability and confirmation at time of booking.
9. Travel must commence before June 30, 2011.  No extensions available. The trip must be booked and confirmed at least 90 days prior to departure.  Selected trip departure must have a minimum of four other passengers already booked in order for Winner to book trip.
10. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers.
11. Prize valid on new bookings only and cannot be applied to existing bookings. Prize applies to published itinerary. Excludes extra items such as airfares, trip kitties, travel insurance, extra accommodation, single supplements and visas.
12. Standard booking conditions apply.
13. By entering this Giveaway, you agree that if you win, Intrepid Travel has the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, in any media at any time, your name and/or picture as news or information for promotional purposes without additional consideration.
14. Entry information obtained from you will be used for the purpose of allowing your participation in the Giveaway, to email and/or call the winners, and to inform you of other Intrepid Travel and Your Daily Thread sweepstakes, contests, promotions or sales events, and for the purposes of mailing brochures or other promotional materials.  You may have your name removed from this list by contacting Intrepid Travel at the address included in these Terms and Conditions or email usmarketing@intrepidtravel.com with the subject “unsubscribe”.  We will use reasonable commercial efforts to safeguard the personal information you provide.
15. Winner is solely responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes and fees assessed as a result of the prize. Intrepid US, Inc. will issue IRS Form 1099 to the Winner for the value of the trip. Winner agrees to complete Winner’s Affidavit and to provide Intrepid Travel with a tax identification number in order to properly complete the Form 1099.
