BAKE

You love to: bake…almost as much as you love to eat.

Have your cake, cookies and bake your brownies too when you take part in: this weekend’s Bakesale For Japan.

Why? Stop by any one of the participating bakeries around town (including Akasha, Black Cat Bakery and Angeli Caffé, to name a few) to drop off your goodies or purchase other donated sweets and treats with proceeds benefiting Peace Winds Japan.

WEAR

You’ve had: a rough week, and more than anything you just want to throw on your pjs, crawl into bed and watch reruns of Sex and the City.

You’re a gal on a mission: to be as green as you can be.

Where to start: The Go Green Expo in Downtown Los Angeles featuring hundreds of exhibitors showcasing all things eco-friendly (from pet items, to organic food and eco-fashion).

Why? In addition to the numerous exhibitors, eco-celebrities like Ed Begley Jr. and Captain Paul Watson of “Whale Wars” will speak with the audience, and yoga classes will be offered by LA Yoga throughout the weekend.
