We’ve been busy bees over here at YDT headquarters.  Over the last few months we have listened to  your suggestions and have started implementing a few changes.  We’re beyond excited to share some of our latest updates with you.   Many of you may have noticed our snazzy new website (check it out here if you haven’t).  In addition to our Daily Email Features, we’ve added a few new channels of content that you can access through the website.

Videos: Every Monday we  debut a new episode of our online DIY show called “Eco-Curious” that is hosted on Threadbanger.com.  You can watch the most recent episodes here on you tube.

Travel: Tuesday’s we’ve added a new travel guide section and have hit up the Monterey Pennisula and Thailand so far.

Deals: Wednesday is for the shopaholic in us.  We scour the web far and wide to find the best deals in eco and ethical fashion and products for you.  Savings are typically 20% off or more.

On any given day of the week you can check out fun things our editors have to say on our new blog or check out our thoughts on some products we’ve sampled in the reviews section.  Often time these reviews are paired up with an awesome giveaway to be sure to stay on top of that too.

Events: Don’t forget that this week we’re hosting a clothing swap at the W Hotel Westwood on Thursday night from 7 to 9 p.m.  with our friends from Yelp and on Sunday we’ve partnered with Raksa Sala to present the Eat Pray Love Retreat in Culver City.

In the works right now is a revamp of  our guides section and adding a relationship section.  Our ever popular events calendar is still kicking. We’ve also gotten some rad reviews and features in the press and were awarded the best sustainable website award in 2010 from Intent.com.
