If I could get everyone out there to stop using hair care with parabens and sulfates, I would be a happy editor!

A word from my soap box: There is no regulating body (e.g FDA) on the cosmetics industry. Unfortunately ingredients that absorb into the skin and accumulate are allowed despite public research on the effects. Parabens can mimic estrogen before and after development, and are found in breast cancer tissue. Sulfates mimic Oestrogen, to cause anything from PMS to male infertility.

So please make the switch from Pantene, Dove and Suave ladies and gents! It’s such an easy switch to make too, even if you’re a low maintenance shopper.
