So summer is officially less than one month away, have you tackled your spring cleaning yet?  If you’re like me probably not, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t change.  I like to think of spring cleaning, as spring greening as it is a time when I go through my possessions and make sure:

• I am using and need everything I own.
• What I no longer want is given to others who can use it, or recycled into something else.
• I create less space for stuff and more space for me.

Let’s face it, stuff piles up (and on you) throughout the year, so our annual purging is good for the organizing soul.  If you need some motivation to get your own spring cleaning done, we’ve got a few tips for you.

For the cleaning part, save money and make your own non-toxic, super effective and affordable cleaners at home with simple ingredients like water, baking soda and vinegar.  Our green living maven Danielle teaches us how to DIY it here.
