Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day as Darren Moore of Eco-Vations, hosts “Byu-ti for the Planet: A Sustainable Soiree for Global Green” at Byu-ti Hair Therapy in Santa Monica. Organic treats, sweet drinks and entertainment will be provided. All proceeds benefit Global Green, an environmental non-profit, which hopes to inspire global climate change by creating green buildings and cities. Why? Look and feel byu-ti ful while doing a world of good.

Add a Little Green to Your Evening

Little Green, “a sustainability group inspired by the talks and excitement of Mindshare LA ” invites you to its Sustainability Cocktail Party, Thursday evening. Join like-minded individuals in speaker-led discussions, about green topics such as sustainability, eco-conscious fashion and issues relevant to Southern California. Why? A little conversation can go a long way.

One Fest, Two Fest, Three Fest, MORE

It seems that every which way you turn, there is some sort of festival going on. First there was Oktoberfest, then the LA Street Food Fest, there was even a Fungi Fest! Come Saturday, we will add one more “fest” to the list: the LA Beer Fest. Yes ladies and gents, the time has come once again to fill those bellies with beer, “beer-friendly food” and more beer. Why?
