I fully believe in taking things as easy as possible during this season. I was always an early shopper until one year my schedule forced me into the mall the week before Christmas. What I witnessed there made me swear to never do it again- people frantically buying things that were pure crap and being rude to each other while doing it. No thanks. This year I didn't even go to the mall- all my gifts were handmade or experiential and very modest. I focused on the things I enjoy about the holidays- baking, listening to holiday music, and spending time with friends. Thanks for the great tips and resources.
