Green 4 Your Soul carries a variety of green skincare products for women, men, kids, vegans and even pets. Founder Christin Sheehe and the entire staff tirelessly test and research every single product, plus they have a full disclosure policy and list every single ingredient found in the products they carry.
Why is this important? So many products these days claim to be “natural” or “green” when all they can really claim to be is “green washed”. Green 4 Your Soul’s transparency policy is an important step in breaking the cycle of people putting on the green label just to sell a product.
We got to sample a few goodies that they carry from Shea Terra Organics, a line that uses organic ingredients (including African Potato and herbs) and supports women empowerment groups in Africa. We loved the Pink Guava Pomogrante Shea Body Butter ($18 for 8 0z.) that is made from 40% organic shea butter. The smell was so sweet, we wanted to eat it. With our recent change of weather, it’s perfect for moisturizing dry hands and feet. We also liked Miombo Mango Dead Sea Scrub ($18 for 8 oz.) which is much more gentle and less coarse then your average scrub, but still leaves your skin radiant.
