Beauty & Style

Early on in her career, Stacey noticed the difference that natural cosmetics made on skin. She learned more through her work with Hain Celestial (the company that owns over 75% of Whole Foods brands.) While she was being educated on the products and their benefits, she found that the individual consumers were not—and she wanted to change that.
Launching Green Line Beauty this year has allowed her to do that. Not only does Stacey hand select each product the store carries (going line by line on the ingredient list to ensure the “green” integrity and create trust with her customers), she also uses her knowledge to help educate her clients to find the right product that fits their lifestyles. From holistic classics like and Weleda, Dr. Hauschka, to raw lines like Dr. Alkaitis or vegan lines like Duchess Marden – there is a product for all levels of eco-consciousness.
What won’t she carry? Lines that don’t disclose their ingredient list, or have changed ingredients (after being purchased by big corporations).

After a recent tour of the store, Stacey shared some products she thought the ydt community would enjoy.
- Juice Beauty: Tinted mineral sunscreen with spf 30, no chemicals and perfect for daily wear.
- Duchess Marden: Delicate rose oil based Anti Wrinkle Serum.
- Jane Iredale: Aloe and pomegranate based makeup that is o so healthy for your skin.
- Dr. Hauschka: A complete skincare line that has been biodynamic and pesticide free since 1923.
You can also book beauty appointments for facials and waxing at the boutique too (and yes they use eco-friendly wax).
Be on the look out for their official launch party that will feature mini spa treatments, organic nibbles and other eco-goodies soon.
