This Saturday, September 19^th marks the 24^th annual Coastal Clean Up Day. You can makehistory once again by joining Heal the Bay from 9 am to noon as volunteers pick up trash from beaches, rivers, streets and parks. 15,000 people are expected to turn out to 90 different locations–some are considered code red and really need some extra eco-attention. If you need a little extra motivation to get up early and clean the coast (and if you happen to be participating in a Coastal Clean Up in the OC), the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach is offering a “clean up the place, clean up your face facial.” Details on that promotional offer found here .
