“Garbage Dreams” Hits the Screens
This Friday check out a film with meaning when Garbage Dreams screens at the ArcLight in Hollywood. This documentary film is about three teenage boys in a village outside of Cairo, Egypt. The residents of this particular village are referred to as “garbage people” since they live on a landfill and “survive by recycling over 80% of the garbage they collect.” This story awakens our awareness for the planet as we get a glimpse into global recycling.
