Are you ready for an art display that pushes the boundaries of creativity, has an eco-friendly message and is absolutely free? Consider checking out a constantly growing display called “A Pocketful of Posies,” to be created, lived in, and maintained by the exhibit’s Artist In Residence, Jennifer Vanderpool. Vanderpool is as Los Angeles-based artist known for her innovative installations made of recycled-materials. “A Pocket Full of Posies” will slowly become a colorful, redeveloped garden created from recycled materials, and visitors are encouraged to create their own recycled flower to add to the installation. Vanderpool will be living and working in the Artist Studio at the One Colorado shopping center in Pasadena form now until October 15th, and all visitors are welcome on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. To learn more about the artist or download a press release for the event, visit Jennifer Vanderpool’s website here.
