Equator Books Hosts the Green Living Project:
Is there a secret eco-adventure lurking inside of you, waiting to come out? If so, head over to Equator Books in Venice Thursday night to let it. The Green Living Project is hosting its premiere of the National Geographic Series, Sustainability Across South America. The Cove Premieres in L.A.
This “eco controversial” film about dolphin and whale fishing in Japan opens this weekend at the Landmark and Arclight Theaters in West Los Angeles & Hollywood. Learn more about the Sundance festival film and the issues it raises here. Watch the trailer here.

Vanishing of the Bees Sneak Peek & Fundraiser
The Vanishing of the Bees is another eco-film is worth your while. Head over for the sneak peak at the G2 Gallery in Venice. There will also be 20 different varieties of honey to sample, free food, drinks and kombucha (my fave). Plus you can enter a silent auction to support the film and meet the directors too. The even will be as sweet as honey.

Jam with Fallen Fruit and Public Fruit
Eco-Collaborative artistic group Fallen Fruit is holding its 4th annual public fruit jam. What’s a public fruit jam? It’s where, armed with jars and some neighborhood fruit you’ve foraged, you get to make your very own jam so you can enjoy summer fruit on your toast all year. Over 300 people are expected to take part in this delicious, locavorish, community-building event. Can’t get enough of Fallen Fruit—after the jam session head over to the after party.
