Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), a non-profit dedicated to affordable access to locally grown produce, has been expanding for the past 20 years, and has opened several pick-up locations in Los Angeles! The Southern California branch receives their produce from the organic Ramirez Farm in Riverside, and offers five different locations within the Los Angeles area for weekly pick-ups of assorted vegetables and fruits. The locally grown, organic produce provided by CSA is actually less expensive than the produce found in supermarkets, and of course it saves the resources required to ship food interstate or internationally.
