Beverly Hills is known for some of the world’s most luxurious streets and sights-Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and pretty people in pretty clothes at both. Now we can add to that list Pretty Thing, a boutique owned by Meghan Kendall, that has all the latest fashions, even some with an organic twist. Two months ago Meghan relocated Pretty Thing to Dayton Way where she proudly carries organic clothing lines such as Burning Torch, Liv Grn and even Cosa Bella’s alternative line of bamboo pajamas, nightgowns and underwear.

“I live my life in a small circle,” Meghan said during our interview. “I drive a fuel- efficient vehicle, I try to walk when I can, I even use paraben-free products for my skin. Reducing my carbon foot print is more than a fad for me, it’s a conscious choice I’ve made that I gladly incorporate into my store to the best of my ability.”

Instead of using plastic bags, Pretty Thing gives reusable bags to its shoppers adorned with its cute logo and catch phrase: “Where beauty meets comfort.” For the recent Liv Grn fall launch/Pretty Thing relocation party, the store even debuted new soy candles made with an essential oil blend.

This Beverly Hills boutique really does offer a place where beauty meets comfort meets eco for everyone.
