Harvey’s Seatbelt Bags

Harvey’s Seatbelt Bags

treecycle
Every girl (fashionista or not) knows the power that the right bag has in completing an outfit. Second only to shoes, a beautiful bag can spice things up and showcase your sense of style-even if you’re in casual jeans and tees. But often times these bags are made far away, with unfair labor and use less than eco-desirable materials. So what is an eco-fashionista to do?

Have no fear. Harvey’s Treecycle Seatbelt Bags are made of 100% recycled seatbelts and are made right here in Southern California (supporting the local economy). The inspiration came from husband and wife team Dana and Melanie Harvey when they were installing seatbelts into their 1950 Buck. Dana wanted to make Melanie a bag that would match their car and from that loving gesture-the original seatbelt bag was born.

Because they are made from recycled seatbelts, each bag is a unique piece (like a work of art). And since the recycled seatbelt bag comes in various shades of brown, black, grey and tan, you can use the bags with almost any outfit.

We love the Boxy Treecycle Harvey’s Exclusive ($134) and matching Treecycle Clutch Wallet ($98.)

Jamie

now you offer it I just picked up a treecycle bag last weekend. I guess I should have waited one week longer.
They are great bags!

I was viewing your website last night and noticed the 20% coupon code you have advertised for Harveys seatbelt bags. After trying to place my order, I was told that this offer expired last year. It was a huge diappointment to me seeing that was purchasing my first bag from them. :( It would be wise to update your website to prevent anymore dissapointment.

So sorry about your disappointment Special K. We did list that the discount was valid until the end of June and the article does show the date that it was written (May 25th, 2009).

I did just add June 2009 to avoid any other confusion, but we did list the experation date, though perhaps it was not clear.

Again, we’re sorry for any disappointment. We’ve got regular deals happening on YDT weekly so be sure to check back as you’ll never know if Harvey’s comes back.
