Samosa House

Samosa House

Certainly some of the tastiest vegetarian food available has to be Indian food, and Samosa House of Culver City does not disappoint. The eatery slash Indian market is a treasure trove of hard-to-find ingredients and well-stocked treats, not to mention a great place for vegan and vegetarian curry and of course, samosas.

Crispy potato samosas, mango lassi, and jackfruit are popular menu choices. Inexpensive, but filling lunch combo plates are offered with rice and thin, tortilla-like chapati bread. It’s doubtful that the 3-item combo could leave you wanting, despite it lacking meat or animal products. The curries are tasty and have a healthy dose of spices without being overly greasy or heavy.

Now celebrating their 30th year in Los Angeles, the combination of tasty food and friendly service has made Samosa House a home to West L.A. vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike, and for good reason.

Location: 11510 W. Washington Blvd., Culver City (Los Angeles) 90066. Phone: 310-398-6766. Website: http://www.samosahouse.net. Hours: Open Everyday 10AM – 9PM.
