Santa Monica Critical Mass:  Cyclist Take Over the Streets of Santa Monica

Critical Mass
started in San Francisco in 1992 and has since spread around the world.  Join the Santa Monica group in their monthly ride of cycling comradory.  Riders meet at the Santa Monica pier at 6:30 p.m. and take off as one giant bicycle troop.  Drivers beware, the cyclists are taking over the road.

The Great Chinatown Hunt Continues…

If you weren’t able to do it last weekend, you’re in luck because it’s happening again. The Great Chinatown Hunt will take you on a three-hour adventure through Chinatown’s temples, busy shops, exotic restaurants and tiny corners.  In teams of two to four you’ll solve puzzles and crack codes, so get your best treasure hunting game face on.  Good Luck!

Sustainable Supper Club:  Chicks With Knives

If you’ve ever head of the Roma, a traveling fine dinning dinner group in the Pacific Northwest and wished there was something in L.A. that was similar, check out the Sustainable Supper Club from Chicks With Knives.  This Saturday they’re hosting a delicious four course sustainable made meal that sounds divine.  The supper will take place in Downtown L.A. and can fit up to 68 people.  If you’re interested RSVP as soon as you can.  To view the complete menu visit the ydt Event Calendar here.  I believe the event is BYOB, but you’ll have to double check with the hostesses.

Green Wave Presents:  Green Heart Eco-Yoga Day

Celebrate International Yoga Day with meditation, practice and connection with different eco-vendors, speakers and participate in an eco workshop given by Green and Greener’s Alegre Ramos.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own mats and reusable water bottles (ionized water and tea will be available.)  The day will be spent mostly on the mats and participants are encouraged to connect with others to come up with ways to impact their own lives and the world.  All costs collected this day will benefit Green Wave, a grass roots non-profit organization dedicated to supporting green development and education initiatives.
