The Carbon Footprint of Your Google Seach

All you green bloggers out there, listen up! This article from the Times Online was passed on to me today by DAME Magazine Editor In Chief Jennifer Reitman. According to the article, two Google searches release the same amount of carbon that you create when you boil a kettle for a cup of tea. Thats about 15 g (it’s a British Mag so you’ve got to think metric) of Co2. Read more of the findings here on the Times Online. I guess I’ll work on stopping my lazy google searches, but in all honesty I’ll probably have to work alot harder else where to make up for this.
