A New Year a New You! January can be a time for great reflection and putting things into perspective, especially at the work place. If you spent much of 2008 disliking your job and are curious to learn about a new field, (marketing for youth and action sports to be more specific) then pencil in 7 p.m. on January 15th. Tadpole Event Marketing and Consulting is hosting its first annual “Women In Marketing: Experience to Inspire” event at the Red Bull Headquarters in Santa Monica. The evening will consist of nine speakers who will be honored and highlighted from companies like Roxy, Red Bull, Interscope Records, Boost Mobile and more.

The guest list will be kept to a minimum so that the panel will remain intimate, interactive and there will be time for Q & A discussions. To make the event even better (from a green perspective), Tadpole will donate all proceeds to Global Inheritance, a non-profit devoted to “redefining activism for the next generation.” Other eco-friendly measures they are taking include using recycled gift bags and recycled name badges from previous events instead of brand new “Hello My Name is” badges that we all love (hate).
