Healthy Meets Gourmet: Club Gourmet Custom Meals

Feeling bloated from overeating and overdrinking during the year-end holiday festivities? You might want to join the club – Club Gourmet, that is. Club Gourmet is an organic and locally-sourced meal delivery service based out of Los Angeles that specializes in epicurean meals that are also healthy and fresh – perfect for satisfying any number of 2009 New Year’s resolutions.

Club Gourmet’s French-born Yves Vacheresse began preparing custom meals on the side while he was chef de cuisine at the Ritz Carlton. Demand soon led to him starting his own meal delivery business in Los Angeles, where he prepares gourmet meals with hormone-free meats and without any refined sugars or processed ingredients. Even the containers used are 100% biodegradable. Every meal can be customized to each client’s preferences and dietary restrictions – including vegetarian, vegan, and diabetic needs. In addition, the meals are portioned, calorie-controlled and nutritionally balanced for each individual.

Whether it’s Carpaccio with Purple Potato or a Sturgeon Pancetta, there are plenty of tantalizing meal options, all of which are easily delivered right to your door. Now you can easily check off one of those New Year’s resolutions!

Sounds delicious and convenient, but potentially expensive. What’s the price range?

Aurelie Vacheresse

Hi Kristen,

We customize everything to each of our clients. So the price varies depending on which meals and the number of days a week you receive service. For 5 meals per day (breakfast, savory snack, lunch, dinner, sweet snack) the cost is $80 per day. You can check out the pricing page on our website http://www.clubgourmet.org or give me a call at 310-598-6640 for more information.
