The holidays often disrupt our normal routine. Even if you don’t leave town, it’s hard to squeeze in your favorite yoga class when you have to squeeze in five holiday parties, gift shopping, wrapping, baking and of course eating and drinking your holiday fill.
So by the end of the day if your feet can’t carry you to the yoga studio, head over to your computer and visit Yogi Chocolate.com. Yogi Chocolate is an online site where you can download your favorite yoga and meditation classes on a donation basis. You can access this site around the world and at any time during the day. Once you download a class, it is yours to keep (as an mp3).
By offering their classes on a donation basis, Yogi Chocolate practices conscious capitalism by allowing the buyer to “set their own price based on their needs and values.” Whatever you donate is kept private. Teachers receive 60% of the donation, and often times they donate that amount to other organizations (like The Tree of Life).
While I haven’t sampled all of the classes, my favorite so far is Yogi Running for Lower Body with Sara Levere. This class is good practice for any runners, joggers or hikers who want to align their bodies properly to ensure good posture and to avoid knee, joint or ankle injuries. The class is just over a half hour and is even better to experience outside in nature.
For more information and to download your own classes please visit www.yogichocolate.com.
