Linda Loudermilk

Linda Loudermilk

When clothing designer Linda Loudermilk “made it” in high fashion and was showing on Paris runways, she didn’t feel as satisfied with her accomplishments as she thought she would. Instead, she felt there was something lacking in her work – and began to research and pursue sustainability in high fashion, leading to her luxury eco™ approach to design.

Loudermilk’s mission to bring eco-responsibilty to high fashion led to her seeking out materials and fibers made without pesticides or other toxic processes. All designs are crafted with organic textiles woven from natural sources like bamboo, SeaCell® (seaweed) and Ingeo™ (corn). Scraps of European lace and other fabric remnants are salvaged and woven into Loudermilk’s creations. In addition, most Loudermilk clothing is made in the USA.

Her luxe looks include tailored blazers with skinny trousers and fitted dresses with tiered and pleated details, all with a serious edge. Lauded by W Magazine and Elle for her luxuriously eco-friendly fashions, Loudermilk is part of a new wave of fashion designers that are proving that sustainability has a place in fashion innovation, and it is here to stay.

You can find here starting today at The Eco Gift Festival or online at http://www.lindaloudermilk.com

Linda Loudermilk, “Style with a Fierce Heart”, will personally be speaking at the Eco Gift Festival on Sunday December 14th at 1p.m.
