It’s Going to Be a Hot One!

Get Crafty: The 2008 Crazy Cool Ridiculous Holiday Bazaar

With the way the economy is looking these days, no one really wants to think about buying gifts.  However, the holidays are just around the corner; so instead of buying an over priced t-shirt, why not get creative and check out the gifts at the Crazy Cool Ridiculous Holiday Bazaar.  Check out eco-minded gifts from ydt favorite Green and Greener, Fair Trade Skin Care Products from Anti Body, Vegan Chocolate by Chocaveda and a lot more.  You’ll get unique gifts and be stimulating our local economy too (Uncle Sam Will be Proud).
Location: 1512 16th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404,
Date/Time: Sat 11/15/08- 11a.m.-4p.m. Web http://holidaygiftbazaar.com/

A Machine Project Field Guide to the LACMA

The Machine Project will be orchestrating 10 hours of workshops, performances, and events that will experiment “with LACMA’s encyclopedic collection and expansive grounds”.  Exhibits include a glow in the dark unicorn, a man in a suit made of pepper cans, elevators inhabited by musicians (including a mariachi band and drum core) and more.  My personal favorites, a tie between solving the interactive murder mystery with clues from the museum’s grounds and the gallery massages.  This unique event is only taking place this Saturday.  Definitely don’t miss out!
Location: LACMA 5905 Wilshire Blvd.  Los Angeles, CA 90036
Date/Time: Sat 11/15/08 12-10p.m.  Buy Tickets Here $12
