I Scream, You Scream: The Great L.A. Ice Cream Party
It’s hard to say “no” to ice cream, especially when it’s for a good cause. Started 11 years ago as a way to get young people together for social causes, this party has evolved into one of the largest ice cream socials in the city. Their goal isn’t to raise millions, but to allow young people to give back and do something good for the community. This year there are supporting LA Commons, a group that works to promote public art in local neighborhoods. Location: Griffith Park, 4730 Crystal Springs Drive. Date/Time: Saturday 9/27 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
