Laugh it up at Largo

The Largo has moved locations, and with its new home comes a jam-packed schedule of musicians and comedians.  This Thursday, Sarah Silverman will be performing at the venue, along with a few other comedians.  If you don’t know who Sarah Silverman is… I don’t know what to say to you.  Her dry delivery and unique point of view make me laugh so hard I pee almost every time. She’s that good. Go. See it. Do it… I said do it.  Location: 366 N. La Cienega Blvd. (at Beverly Blvd.) West Hollywood, 90048. Phone: (310) 855-0350. Web: www.largo-la.com/largohome.html.

Silverlake, 90027. Phone: (323) 661-4380. Web: clubspaceland.com/.

Let your iPod lead the way at UCB

The Friday night show Soundtrack at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) includes veteran performers such as Billy Merritt and Brian Huskey, whom you may recognize as the bald guy with glasses in the Sonic commercials.  The talented cast members are some of the best long form improvisers in the country right now, and will not fail to entertain you.  Your iPod is the soundtrack to the show, hence the name, and the show unravels based on your music.  The best part is you get to participate without really participating at all!  Location: 5919 Franklin Ave. (at Bronson) Hollywood, 90028. Phone: (323) 908-8702 Web: ucbtheatre.com/.
