Inspired by global warming and deteriorating eco-systems in remote areas of Micronesia, China and Brazil, Chad Alasantro and Joe Kudla launched the Vuori brand to draw awareness to environmental preservation. Vuori joins forces with artists, grassroots environmentalists, eco-entrepreneurs and activists from organizations such as Greenpeace, the Carbon Fund and the American Lands Alliance to design tees inspired by environmental causes. Information about the affiliated organization is printed inside each finished t-shirt, and 5 percent of sales are donated to help further its cause.
