This week our friends at Pink Cloud Events and the Avita Co-op are embellishing the realm of eggshell wedding gowns with a twist of sophisticated sage green. They are hosting L.A.’s first Eco-Luxe Bridal Salon, “Love is in the Air,” to offer brides-to-be green alternatives. And, as always, they are doing it in style by offering:
- complimentary mani/pedis from Veda Organic Spa;
- make-up tips from Josie Maran, supermodel and owner of her own cosmetic line;
- a fashion show featuring beautiful and environmentally-conscious wedding dresses designed by Deborah Lindquist & Annatarian;
- organic hors d’oeuvres provided by the IV Group;
- gift bags full of “green” goodies;
- and the ability to meet with earth-friendly experts such as Be Carbon Neutral Jewelry, Verde Paperie, Krislyn floral design, Yarok Hair, Inara Organics and more…

This event sounds great! Weddings are lovely, but they also are costly and can be very wasteful at times. I’m excited to see how I might be able to green up my own wedding…if I ever get married
